Do maternal vaccinations lead to adverse early-childhood health outcomes?
A literature review published in Pediatrics analyzed whether the practice of immunizations during pregnancy influence other early health outcomes.
Little is known about additional health outcomes in a child following maternal vaccinations.
The current information was observed for this review and researchers analyzed several studies where findings included lower risks of gastrointestinal infection and increased risk of sepsis.
The results of this review, however, are more complicated.
